Lives & works in Zeeland, MI
While the distractions of modern life are powerful and numerous, our world is still an enchanted place and we live enchanted lives. There is beauty everywhere I look and I realize that I have been called to celebrate that beauty. I like the challenge of painting new subject matter, so I don’t limit what kinds of subjects I paint. I stay fresh by painting trees, sunsets, snow, children, rusty cars, old boats, buildings, food, Adirondack chairs, birds, and more. Clients are drawn to my use of bright colors, light and shadow and realistic style.
My watercolors have been in galleries across MI. I am currently in Studio 2 in Montague, and MI Grand Expressions in Grand Rapids. I am in the Zeeland Artists Collective Working Gallery in downtown Zeeland Hardware, Etc. I have also opened “The Red Chair Gallery” in Zeeland which you may visit by appointment.
I am a member of the American Watercolor Society, the Michigan Watercolor Society, The Holland Area Arts Council, Holland Friends of Art, and the Zeeland Artists’ Collective.
