Painting is a creative discipline, requiring both head and heart. In the beginning, steps may be tentative, but learning from multiple sources builds confidence.

I can't not paint...
Painting is both a solitary and social endeavor. Hours alone in the studio are energized from classes, workshops, colleague critiques and jurist comments.
